Dear Colleagues,

 

Firstly, we at the Pan Arab Journal of Neurosurgery would like to convey Season’s Greetings to all of our subscribers and Editorial/Advisory Board Members.

 

As you all know the Pan Arab Journal of Neurosurgery is entering its 16th year of publication and we are extremely pleased to announce that readers’ response has been tremendous and we are now regularly receiving submissions from throughout the region, as well as from around the world.

 

Our journal was established in order to afford our colleagues an opportunity in which to have papers published on a regular basis and to additionally provide an environment for furthering skills and knowledge as well as a forum encouraging discussion among colleagues and institutions.  This is an opportunity for junior colleagues to have their work reviewed and possibly improved by Peer Reviewers.

 

However, technology around us is evolving by the minute and thus we have decided it was time for us to evolve as well. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that the Pan Arab Journal of Neurosurgery would like keep-in-pace with the evolving technology and to be environment friendly by making our Journal online only through the Pan Arab Neurosurgical Society website ‘www.panarabneurosurgery.org.sa”.  Our Journal would be accessible at anytime and anywhere. 

 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you most sincerely for your ongoing interest and support for our Journal.

Pan Arab Journal of Neurosurgery

With regard to all submissions of articles to our journal, please note that all References should be double checked by the author/s as they will now be verified.  Also all references must be listed in alphabetical order and mentioned accordingly in text.  If References are found to be incorrect this will delay acceptance and, therefore, publication.

All resubmissions must have the revisions highlighted or they will be automatically returned to the authors which may, again, delay publication.

We do have many Case Reports awaiting publication but do have need of further 'Original' and 'Clinical' articles. Please forward your work to us.

We are also in need of further reviewers to peer review articles so if you are interested, please do contact us.

If anyone reads a new Neurosurgical/Spinal book we would be delighted if you would write up a 'Book Review' with your comments and forward to us for inclusion in future editions of our Journal.

Special Supplement - Gamma Knife Radiosurgery

Prof. Ladislau Steiner and Dr. Chen-Po Yen with others have very kindly given us the opportunity of publishing a Supplement on this very interesting topic.  We would be very pleased to receive readers feedback on this Supplement.
